The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society has issued a weather forecast for the next seven days, from October 15 to October 21, 2021, warning of heavy to very heavy rain in various regions of Thailand due to the southwest monsoon and a shifting monsoon trough. The forecast also advises farmers and boaters in vulnerable areas of the potential danger of flash floods and strong wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand. Each region's expected weather conditions, such as thunderstorms, wind speeds, temperatures, and sunshine durations, are detailed throughout the period. Additionally, the forecast warns of two upcoming tropical storms, "LIONROCK (2117)" and "KOMPASU (2118)," that are expected to impact the central, eastern, and lower northeastern regions of Thailand.
