The experience of growing in the Kharkiv region was shared by Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Serhiy Avramenkov. Ziziphus belongs to subtropical species. But due to climate change, it is already growing in most regions of Ukraine. Serhiy Avramenkov, in particular, grows ziziphus in the Izium district of the Kharkiv region. "These are not only deciduous but also branch-falling trees. An interesting feature of this plant is that not only the leaves fall off, but also part of the young growth of branches along with the fruits," he commented. For growing ziziphus, it is necessary to choose sunny, wind-protected places. In Serhiy Avramenkov's garden, the trees have been growing for over 7 years.
