A new city farm from Russian scientists can double crop yields

The modern city farm developed by LETI scientists showed an increase in the volume of basil harvest by two times, and the content of nutrients in it by three times. The result was achieved due to the optimized composition of LED radiation. Scientists from the St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" have developed a "smart" city farm in which crop yields increase twofold or more.
