A new gooseberry variety of local selection will begin to grow in the Urals, Russia

A new gooseberry variety "Avangard", developed by scientists from the South Ural Research Institute of Horticulture and Potato Growing (author Vladimir Ilyin), is included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements and is recommended for cultivation in the Ural region. The berry crop has a high yield - from 3 to 7 kg per bush, more than 20 tons per hectare. In addition, the new variety has an excellent sweet and sour taste, according to experts, it received 5 out of 5.
