São Paulo, 20/11/2025 - The Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (Abiec) celebrated the decision by United States President Donald Trump to eliminate the additional 40% tariffs on beef produced in Brazil.
"The reversal reinforces the stability of international trade and maintains balanced conditions for all countries involved, including Brazilian beef," says Abiec.
The entity also says that the measure demonstrates the effectiveness of the technical dialogue and negotiations conducted by the Brazilian government, which contributed to a constructive and positive outcome.
"Abiec will continue to act cooperatively to expand opportunities and strengthen Brazil's presence in major global markets," says the statement.
