The ABC Exporters Consortium explained in its monthly report: "The average export price of refrigerated and frozen beef in September 2025 was 5,761 dollars per ton. This value is 4.1% higher than that obtained in August; and 39.8% higher than the average price of September 2024, which was 4,121 dollars per ton." That increase in foreign exchange income would have been much greater if sales had grown in volume at a higher rate. However, the data released by the ABC Exporters Consortium indicates that 71,300 tons of product were shipped, 1.7% less than in August of this year and than in September 2024.
