Aging aquaculture facilities, newly renovated with advanced equipment

The largest marine engineering pool in the country has been renewed with the latest precision measuring equipment, shedding its outdated devices. The National Institute of Fisheries Science announced that it has replaced the aging equipment in the marine engineering pool with the latest models and improved the usage fee calculation criteria to better suit reality, significantly enhancing its public research functions. The marine engineering pool, the largest research facility in the country for testing the performance of fishing gear and vessels, is composed of a towing tank, a recirculating tank, a two-dimensional wave tank, and more.
