Agreement reached to strengthen private sector fisheries exchanges among South Korea, China, and Japan

South Korea, China, and Japan's private fishery organizations have recently decided to strengthen mutual exchanges, including the regular sharing of fishing operations, fishing grounds, and climate change information, in response to the sharp decline in squid resources. According to the Korea Fisheries Association, a South Korea-China-Japan private fishery delegation, led by Jeong Yeong-hoon, President of the Korea Fisheries Association, Chu Yi-feng, President of the China Fisheries Association, and Edamoto Masaaki, President of the Japan Fisheries Association, held a private fishery conference in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, Japan, on the 3rd, and discussed private cooperation plans in the fishery sector, focusing on this issue.
