On June 28, 2022, the agricultural product prices in Vietnam and the international market saw mixed trends. In Vietnam, coffee prices fluctuated between 42,500 VND/kg to 43,100 VND/kg across various provinces, while pepper prices ranged from 69,000 VND/kg to 72,000 VND/kg, showing a decrease. Despite the US facing a 40-year high inflation and a retail sales dip, its import of pepper from Vietnam has surged by 25.3% to 21,170 tons in the first four months of the year, making up 74% of the total pepper import. Meanwhile, coffee prices in the international market had contrasting movements, with robusta coffee experiencing a slight increase, while arabica coffee saw a decrease.
