The Central Administration of Agricultural Quarantine is processing requests for coding strawberry and citrus farms for the 2024/2025 export season, with 64 strawberry and 1825 citrus farms already coded, covering 176,428 acres. Strawberry exports ranked eleventh, with 21,295 tons exported from January 1 to October 30, 2024, contributing to over 7.1 million tons of agricultural exports valued at $4.1 billion, a $1 billion increase from the previous year. The new coding system includes GPS tracking and monitoring of agricultural practices, with compliance ensured by the Central Laboratory through sample analysis.
