Egypt: 1,899 strawberry and citrus farms have applied product coding for export

The Central Administration of Agricultural Quarantine of the Ministry of Agriculture announced the continuation of receiving requests for coding strawberry and citrus farms through the Exporters Service Department in preparation for the 2024/2025 export season, which has so far reached 64 coded strawberry farms. While the number of citrus farms advanced for coding for export to European Union countries reached 1095 farms with a total area of 129747 acres, the farms advanced for coding for export to countries outside the European Union 730 farms with a total area of 46681 acres, so that the total number of citrus farms advanced for coding became 1825 with a total area value of 176428 acres.
