Egypt's agricultural exports have seen a significant increase, with a total of 6.4 million tons exported from January 1, 2024, to September 18, an increase of over 529 thousand tons compared to the same period last year. The main exports include citrus fruits, potatoes, onions, grapes, beans, sweet potatoes, mangoes, tomatoes, garlic, strawberries, guava, and pomegranates. Citrus fruits were the leading export at 2.20 million tons, followed by fresh potatoes with 965,796 tons, onions with 261,580 tons, and beans (fresh and dry) with 192,925 tons. Other significant exports included grapes, potatoes, mangoes, pomegranates, tomatoes, garlic, strawberries, and guava.
