The Animal Health Research Institute of the Agricultural Research Center in Egypt has initiated four free veterinary convoys that traveled through villages and rural areas in November, providing free examinations for over 3,795 heads of cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goats, and 6,100 birds in four different governorates. These convoys aimed to offer high-quality veterinary services, promote animal health care, teach breeders about biosecurity and disease prevention, and improve economic returns for breeders by preserving livestock. The convoys were a collaborative effort of the sub-laboratories of the Animal Health Research Institute, civil society associations, and pharmaceutical companies, and were designed to support breeders and conserve biodiversity.
