With the aim of generating new companies and innovating in the use and production of the Mexican nopal, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development promotes the development of productive projects of entrepreneurial families in regions of the country that have low humidity. The federal agency, through the National Commission of Arid Zones (Conaza), launched this model that seeks to strengthen production units through the implementation of technological packages that allow them to strengthen and integrate into the value chain of nopal.
