Víctor Villalobos Arámbula reported that progress is being made in negotiations with the United States government to open avocado exports from Jalisco to that market Mexico City, November 15, 2021.— In response to the productive development of the El Zapotillo dam and its area of influence, in the state of Jalisco, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Sader) participates in activities aimed at reactivating of agriculture and livestock that allow to promote the communities of the area. Within the framework of the presentation of the Comprehensive Development Plan for the towns of Acasico, Palmarejo and Temacapulín, led by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development, Víctor Villalobos Arámbula, said that crops such as fodder will be promoted, vegetables, agave, chia, beans, corn and sorghum, among others, with modernization of irrigation, to increase the productivity of this region with agricultural potential.
