In the first half of 2024, China imported 6.8 thousand tons of turkey meat worth $21.7 million, with all the meat coming from Russia, making Russia the leading supplier of turkey meat to China. The State Technical University of the People's Republic of China provided these findings. Meanwhile, Russia's turkey meat production increased by 1.8% in 2023, reaching 422 thousand tons, which not only kept it in the lead in Europe but also maintained its position as the world's second-largest producer. Furthermore, Russia has climbed to the fourth spot among the world's major exporters of turkey meat.
