The Chamber of Meat Industries (CAINCA) issued a statement with an unusually severe tone in which it warns about the accelerated deterioration that the beef slaughter sector is undergoing in the province of Buenos Aires. According to the entity, the current scenario combines an uncontrolled increase in operating costs with a relative drop in income from by-products, generating an economic equation that has become unsustainable for most plants.
