Dr. Reda Eliwa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture in Assiut, has announced that the wheat crop cultivated in Assiut Governorate spans 174 thousand acres. He confirmed that the condition of winter crops, including wheat, sugar beets, and beans, is satisfactory. The total cultivated areas in the governorate are 174,757 acres for wheat, 16,608 acres for beets, and 7,059 acres for local fava beans. Eliwa urged farmers to adhere to all technical instructions and recommendations from the Ministry of Agriculture.
