In 2023, vodka made up 32.1% of alcohol sales in Russia, a slight decrease from 33% in 2022. Wine products also saw a decrease in sales from 9.1% to 8.8%, while alcoholic products with less than 9% alcohol content saw a slight increase from 1.3% to 1.5%. Fermented drinks maintained a steady share of 39.4%. Despite these shifts, there was an overall increase of 2.8% in the volume of legal retail sales of alcoholic products, due to market legalization and improved purchasing power. However, the average shipping price from manufacturers for various alcoholic beverages significantly increased.
