Almost half of the export of whey in Ukraine is bought by Poland

Ukraine's milk product exports in August 2024 saw a decrease of 8% from the previous month but a 26% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Association of Milk Producers. The majority of these exports, approximately 45%, were sent to Poland. Overall, Ukraine has seen a significant increase in the natural volumes of whey exports since the beginning of 2024, with a 36% increase to 15.72 thousand tons, resulting in a 35% growth in monetary revenue to $10.68 million.
