The National Institute for Agrarian Innovation (INIA) has distributed 830 straws of high-value Brown Swiss and Simmental cattle semen to the district municipalities of Olleros, Granada, and Florida in the Amazonas region. This initiative aims to promote the use of reproductive biotechnologies and will result in the birth of more productive bovine calves. The semen was transferred as part of various projects and an agreement between INIA and the municipal entities, with the goal of enhancing livestock development and economic growth for small and medium producers.
