Ambev inaugurates on Monday, the 15th, its new glass bottle factory in Carambeí, in the interior of Paraná. The investment was R$ 1 billion, and the unit is equipped to produce 600 million bottles of different colors and shapes per year. The plant will supply the company's breweries spread across Brazil, in states such as Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Ceará, and Paraná itself. The investment transformed the State of Paraná into the one where Ambev integrates all phases of production, a concept the company calls "from grain to sip." The factory should optimize logistics costs and reduce delivery time. Such improvements should help the company keep up with the growing demand for premium beers.
