A group of South Korean millers purchased 50,000 tons of bread wheat of U.S. origin at an international tender, international news agencies reported. The winner of the tender is the company United Grain, which will deliver on a FOB basis 24,670 tons of soft white wheat (SWW) with 9.5-11% protein for $232.53 per ton, 2,780 tons of the same grain with up to 9% protein for $242.33 per ton, 10,405 tons of hard red wheat (HRW) with at least 11.5% protein for $246.37 per ton, and 12,145 tons of northern dark spring wheat (DNS) with at least 14% protein for $261.11 per ton.
