The latest forecast from the French Ministry of Agriculture for wine production in 2025 is significantly lower in volume than expected. The forecast reflects the strong impact of climate change on the primary sector and is directly related to the heatwave that hit the country in August. According to the publication, a chain reaction is expected. The ministry's new estimate, published on Tuesday, sets the total production at 36.0 million hectoliters.
