The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) has launched the Export Qualification Program, Peiex Agro Frutas, and signed a new agreement for the Fruits of Brazil Sector Project to boost Brazilian fruit exports and open new markets globally. The project, which has received R$ 9,486,862.83 in investments, has already generated over U$S 170 million from fruit exports to over 40 countries from January to June of this year. The main markets include the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with mango, lemon, melon, and grape as the main exports. Since the project's inception in 2014, over 60 companies have benefited from it, including Argofruta and Cooperativa Agrícola Nova Aliança.
