[Reporter Lee Woo-jung, Korea Farmers' News] From September 16 to November 10, the Gangwon Branch of the National Agro-Food Quality Management Service will operate a regular change notification period for households cultivating autumn crops such as kimchi radishes and cabbages. The regular change notification system is an institutional measure to utilize registered information of agricultural businesses as a policy basis for agricultural product supply and demand, and to promote correct policy support. It is operated throughout the year, divided into winter crops (garlic, onion), summer crops (rice, fruits, etc.), and autumn crops (radish, cabbage) according to the cultivation period. The items targeted in the currently implemented regular change notification system are kimchi radishes and cabbages, with 3,557 farming households in Gangwon Province cultivating radishes.
