In the first quarter of 2021, Brazil emerged as a leading exporter of sugar, shipping out nearly 6 million tons to various countries and generating revenue of US $ 1,839.88 billion. The export activity saw significant participation from Arab and Asian markets, with Indonesia and Bangladesh being the largest buyers.
