Argentina has opened the Oman market for equine exports

(NAP) Argentina has succeeded in opening the Omani market for the export of live horses, after the National Service for Agri-Food Health and Quality (Senasa) and the veterinary service of the Asian country agreed on a model of International Veterinary Certificate (CVI), which includes the sanitary requirements established for the shipment of animals. Through an official note from the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Saudi Arabia sent to the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Riyadh, it is indicated that the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock Resources and Water Resources of that country has no observations on the sanitary certificate proposed by Senasa, within the framework of the interest of the Argentine private sector in exporting live horses to this destination.
