Argentina is improving the quality and competitiveness of its blueberry cultivation by studying the use of bioregulators, as part of a doctoral thesis at the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) in Concordia. The research focuses on the effects of bioregulators such as ethylene, cytokinins, and auxins on the ripening, firmness, size, and nutritional value of blueberries. The study aims to allow producers to adapt to export and storage conditions through differential management strategies and ultimately increase the efficiency of the harvesting process. The research is expected to provide valuable information for both researchers and producers, optimizing the use of bioregulators in blueberry production and improving the quality and sustainability of the fruit.
