Argentina has completed the harvest of grain sorghum for the 2024/25 season, with total production estimated at 3.1 million tons. According to data from the Cereales Bolsa of Buenos Aires, the average yield reached 35.1 qq/ha, slightly below the average of the last five seasons, but still 100,000 tons above the volume recorded in the previous campaign. The Core and North-Central regions of Córdoba stood out with the best results, showing 57 qq/ha and 52.8 qq/ha, respectively, while areas of the NEA and North-Central Santa Fe suffered from water stress, recording 26.5 qq/ha and 32.4 qq/ha.
