The state of São Paulo concentrates the largest cultivation of the flower in the country. In the municipality of Piedade, located in the interior, around 90% of the national production originates, which has established the city as the Brazilian capital of the artichoke. "There, tradition and knowledge have come together for generations, and it was from there that the seedlings that now supply producers from all over the country came," the secretariat reported.
