The first stop took place last Tuesday, the 15th, with meetings involving directors of the Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Enterprises (Sebrae/RN), of the Federation of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of RN (Faern), of the National Service Rural Apprenticeship (Senar/RN) and the Agricultural Research Corporation of Rio Grande do Norte (Emparn). The intention is to set up technological reference units (URTs) in the main cashew producing centers in the state with the support of Embrapa and other research bodies. In these units, cultivation technologies, phytosanitary management, soil and plant nutrition will be applied, in addition to cultural practices that boost cashew productivity to competitive levels, both nationally and internationally.
