Mexican beef exports increased by 9.2% in volume and 3.3% in value from January to October 2022, despite a decrease in the international price per ton. The United States, Japan, and Canada were the primary markets for Mexican beef, with the United States receiving 84.5% of the total shipments. There was a 4.9% decrease in Mexico's international beef purchases, with a decrease in imports from the United States and Nicaragua, and an increase in purchases from Canada.
