One hundred twenty samples from various parts of Austria were analyzed, with 10 samples failing to meet regulatory standards. Ninety samples failed to comply with the Food Information Regulation, including one iced tea that fell short of the minimum caffeine content and labels that failed to warn consumers about increased caffeine. One sample violated the Novel Food Regulation by failing to clearly identify a novel food ingredient on the label.
