A recent survey by Integral and Iglo, based on 1,000 Austrians, has revealed a decrease in the number of Austrians who eat meat several times a week, while consumption of meat alternatives is on the rise. The research indicates that 54% of Austrians still consume meat frequently, but 27% plan to reduce their meat intake in the future. Skepticism towards meat alternatives is also declining, with 27% of respondents consuming these products regularly. The survey highlights the environmental impact of meat production and the potential for reducing climate impact by eating less meat.
