India, Namibia, and Albania have suspended chicken meat imports from Brazil after the confirmation of an avian flu case in a commercial farm in Montenegro (RS) last Friday, 16th, according to information from the Ministry of Agriculture. In total, chicken meat exports from the entire Brazilian territory are suspended for 23 destinations, according to the ministry's most recent survey. Temporarily paused are Brazilian poultry product shipments to China, European Union, Mexico, Iraq, South Korea, Chile, Philippines, South Africa, Jordan, Peru, Albania, Canada, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Malaysia, Argentina, Timor-Leste, Morocco, Bolivia, Namibia, India, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan, according to the ministry's survey.
