The World Avocado Organization (WAO) is expanding its presence in Europe through partnerships with 30 distributors in 12 countries, including Carrefour and Tesco, bringing its total network to over 35,000 stores. In France, the WAO aims to increase avocado consumption by raising awareness about the fruit's versatility and health benefits through events, tastings, and visual aids. The organization believes that with their promotional campaign, per capita avocado consumption in France could surpass that of Scandinavia.
