Azerbaijan experienced a significant increase in corn imports, with a 34% rise compared to the same period last year. The country imported a total of 30 thousand 323 tons of corn, valued at 10 million 572 thousand US dollars, in the first quarter of this year. This represents a quantitative increase of 7 thousand 657 tons and a value increase of 2 million 168 thousand dollars from the previous year. Corn imports contributed only 0.28% to Azerbaijan's overall imports during this period.
