With information from the Brazilian Bean and Pulses Institute (IBRAFE), the bean market in Paraná has been registering an expressive appreciation in recent weeks. The Carioca bean harvest is in its final stretch, which has significantly reduced the supply in the market. As a result, buyers are willing to pay up to R$ 280 per sack of type 8.5/9, with specific deals already surpassing that value, driven especially by the scarcity of high-quality grains.
