Brazilian beef exports reached record highs in October 2024, both in volume and revenue. The volume shipped was 270.3 thousand tons, marking the highest ever recorded for the period, with a growth of 7.39% over the previous month and an impressive 45.27% increase year-over-year. The average daily export also saw an annual increase of 38.62%. The main importers of Brazilian beef were China, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Hong Kong and Chile. The average price of exported beef remained close to US$4,660 per ton, with a slight increase of 1.4% compared to October 2023. The total revenue from beef exported in October 2024 was US$1.259 billion, an increase of 10.87% compared to September and a 47.25% increase year-over-year.
