Beef: heated domestic and external demands

As December begins, the livestock market turns to the peak of domestic consumption, driven by the festivities and the 13th salary. This is what the surveys of the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea) indicate. On the external front, China and the United States are showing signs of firm demands for this month that has just started. To meet these sales, researchers explain that part of the slaughterhouses already has advanced schedules and collective vacation programming in the last days of the month. Another part of the industries, however, still needs to acquire a good quantity of animals and this can keep the market heated mainly until the middle of next week.
