Belarusian cucumbers 4 euros per kilo

Recently, a selection of out-of-season vegetables, including tomatoes, cucumbers and strawberries, grown in greenhouses, have appeared on the Belarusian market. The first batch was harvested near Minsk in a strawberry greenhouse. These greenhouses supply strawberries for 9 months of the year, and they have recently experimented with growing cucumbers, lettuce and tomatoes using supplemental lighting technology.
