Belarus has started exporting rapeseed meal, a feed additive, abroad for the first time through the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE), with a transaction of 200 tons. The most recent transactions for feed and feed additives reached USD 56 million, a 32% increase from the previous year, with the EU, Russia, China, and Switzerland being the main markets. The Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation dominates the structure of these exports, particularly essential amino acids like L-lysine sulfate, L-lysine monohydrochloride, L-threonine, and L-tryptophan.
