Berry producers shared which berry crops turned out to be the most profitable in the season, what problems there were in the berry farming industry, and how prices fluctuated. Strawberry: growth delay due to cold The strawberry season is opened by producers working in tunnels. Since the beginning of February, the tunnels are closed to accelerate the start of vegetation. This year, quite high temperatures at the end of January - beginning of February were replaced by severe frosts at the level of -15…-20°C. Additional covering with agrofiber, which is provided in many producers, helped to save the plants from freezing, but the cold did not allow the plants to develop quickly.
