Bran/USDA: USA sells 243.4 thousand tons of the 2023/24 harvest in the week

The volume represents an increase of 16% compared to the previous week, but a decrease of 5% in relation to the average of the previous four weeks. The main buyers were Vietnam (53,500 t), undisclosed destinations (50,000 t), Philippines (46,000 t), Venezuela (22,700 t) and Morocco (22,000 t), which compensated for cancellations made by Greece (10.4 thousand t) and Nicaragua (8.6 thousand t). For the 2024/25 commercial year, sales of 42.3 thousand tons were reported to Canada (41.8 thousand t) and Sri Lanka (500 t).
