At the end of meetings with the Mexican Foreign Relations Secretary, Juan Ramón de la Fuente, and the Secretary of Economy, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon, on the afternoon of this Wednesday (27), in Mexico City, the Brazilian mission led by Vice President Geraldo Alckmin celebrated the signing of important agreements between the country. Two agreements were signed between Brazil and Mexico that will also promote development in the agricultural sector. The Declaration of Intent on Bilateral Cooperation on the production and use of biofuels addresses technological exchange in the biofuels sector. Among the objectives is to boost an orderly and properly regulated growth of the sector in Mexico, taking advantage of the recognized experience that Brazil has in the production of ethanol from sugarcane.
