Chicken meat exports in June were 2.3% lower than the previous year, totaling 435.9 thousand tons and generating 10.6% less revenue than June 2023. The first half of the year saw a 1.6% decrease in chicken meat exports, with accumulated revenue 10.3% lower than the previous year. China remains the main export destination, but there has been a 29% decrease in imports in the first half of the year. Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Japan, and Saudi Arabia, show a high demand for Brazilian chicken meat. Brazil has also seen an increase in exports to Latin American countries, replacing the United States in some markets.
