Brazil expands pork exports to Bhutan

Brazilian agribusiness celebrates another achievement with the authorization from the Bhutan government to import pork produced in Brazil. This is the second market opening in the Asian country in the last six months, adding to the permission granted for the export of poultry meat last December. In 2023, Bhutan imported more than US$3.33 million in Brazilian agribusiness products, almost doubling the value recorded in 2022, which was US$1.75 million. With this achievement, Brazil reaches its 42nd market opening this year alone, totaling 120 openings in 50 countries since the beginning of President Lula's third term.
