Brazilian honey grows in exports in 2025

Brazilian exports of raw honey showed strong growth in 2024 and maintain an accelerated pace in 2025, according to the Agricultural Situation Bulletin this Thursday (3), prepared by the Rural Economics Department (Deral), of the State Secretary of Agriculture and Supply of Paraná (Seab). The performance is driven, above all, by demand from the United States, the main destination for the product. In 2024, Brazil exported 37,931 tons of natural honey, a volume 32.8% higher than recorded in 2023. Revenue reached US$ 100.56 million, an increase of 17.9% compared to the previous year. In the ranking of exporting states, Paraná occupied the fourth position, with 3,969 tons shipped and revenue of US$ 10.395 million, at an average price of US$ 2.62 per kilogram.
