The 2025/26 soybean crop in Brazil is at an accelerated pace, with 24% of the area planted by the beginning of the week, surpassing the historical average of 16.2% for the period. In Mato Grosso do Sul, the progress is even greater: 30.9% of the area already sown. The estimate is for a 5.9% growth in the cultivated area, totaling 4.79 million hectares and production of 15.2 million tons.
