Brazil's sugar exports saw a significant increase of 162% in February compared to the same period last year, reaching 3.02 million metric tons, due to a record harvest and poor harvests in Asia. The country also experienced a surge in coffee exports, with a 77% increase from February 2023, amounting to 3.61 million 60 kg bags. However, the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (Cecafé) indicated that logistical bottlenecks prevented even higher export numbers.
